As part of my ongoing commitment to support efforts that enhance education for women and children, I have started an annual toy drive for the Boulder Community YWCA Children’s Alley. The YWCA stands for You, Women, Children, All of us. They are a non-profit organization that provides social services, advocacy, educational programs, and racial justice initiatives. They have the only emergency, drop-in childcare center in Boulder County. They also provide programs that build self-esteem and develop the skills necessary to stay economically self-sufficient.
